Course Description
Teaching English to young learners is the first of its kind teaching training course in the non-native speaking countries. It is designed for graduates or undergraduates, potential teachers or experienced and/or less experienced teachers willing to obtain a formal teaching qualification for teaching English as a foreign or second language to children.
Course Aims
This course aims at equipping the trainees with the following teaching skills:
- Gives you the essential skills and knowledge needed for teaching English to young learners;
- Provides you with hands-on practical teaching methods and techniques for teaching children in an effective, fun and engaging way;
- Helps you with insights into appropriate paradigms for teaching language systems (grammar, vocabulary or lexis, functional language) and the four language skills—listening, speaking, reading and writing;
- Offers you a recognized teaching diploma
